The morning of their wedding started with Theresa getting ready at her home in Rockville. It was important to her to start documenting the day at home in a place that was meaningful to her. I personally love the mess and the feel of "too many people" and I get very inspired when so many stories are happening at the same time. Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. The architecture and everything about this church is so impressive! There were more than 150 guests attending the wedding and the nave was still half empty!

A GREEK CATHOLIC WEDDING CEREMONY & A GLEN ECHO PARK WEDDING RECEPTION

Theresa’s family is of Greek descendants, so they had a Greek Catholic ceremony which was such a special way to honor her heritage. After the ceremony, all the guests headed to the wedding reception at Glen Echo Park. Theresa booked this location for two main reasons: the beautiful carousel which was such a fun element and the huge capacity of the outdoor tent.
