I have to admit that Fathom Gallery is perfect for middle-sized weddings for many reasons. It’s intimate and cozy, with still a lot of space to have 70 people sit down during the ceremony. Forget about sitting down properly, most couples opt for a buffet to keep the room as a dancefloor. If you want to not have the hassle of creating a table plan, this is the perfect venue for you.

BLACK AND GOLD WEDDING AT FATHOM GALLERY

The location is also pretty great: located on 14th street, I love scheduling the portrait sessions on Logan Circle. First look, bridal party or family formals, the circle is great with the beautiful row houses in the background and the touches of green from the park.

From the couple (and their mom)

The mother of the groom said it best: "I'm telling you, she is world-class; and we're all so lucky that you found her before she's snagged by Vogue. She is jaw-droppingly good; a true artist, whose camera is just an extension of her body. She was dancing through the crowd, or doing from-the-floor Ninja moves while she took half of these photos! Always in the right place, at the right time.”
