My Wedding Guide : How to Plan your Wedding Photography

fter 7 years of helping my couples to create a timeline for their wedding in the Washington DC area, I have come to realize that I could help my couples even more! That is why I decided to write down all my knowledge and create a magazine for my couple. I explain everything you need to know about your engagement session, and your wedding day, from Getting Ready to your reception. I talk extensively about the First Look.

Photography coverage and timeline

So here we are, with a 120-page magazine ready to be sent over to my couples! I am very excited and I hope that will help all of them to have a stress-free wedding.

This guide is photography-focused. I believe that every wedding vendor has its field of expertise and I would never claim myself as a wedding planner. However, I feel like these few tips will make the photography coverage easier for me, which will help me get better photos and moments for my couples.

The timeline is the key to every wedding. If you work with a planner, make sure to connect your photographer with them. In the end, the photographer will have more expertise about how long family formals take, or how long will they need for couple portraits. I love sending my magazine to the wedding planners as well, as it can give them a sense of who I am and how I work!
