Kathleen & Brendan Wedding⎜ Mountain Memories at Thorpewood
One of my favorite parts of being a Maryland wedding photographer is getting to know my couple’s story. Throughout the inquiry process and my contact form, I set it up so that I can get to know you both and who you are before we ever even hop on a phone call or meet up for coffee to chat!
Today, we are taking a little walk through Kathleen and Brendan’s love story and Maryland wedding that I was so gratefully able to capture for them. They met each other here in DC in September 2016 and they both are super outdoorsy people! She shared with me that they got engaged in Glacier National Park... Can you say dreamy?!

Kathleen and Brendan are both from Maryland originally so I am so happy they decided to have a Maryland wedding so I was able to photograph them!
Since they both love to be outdoors and have that cozy, warm feeling they decided to have their wedding at ThorpeWood which is also called Mountain Memories, it’s a sweet little venue here in Maryland that is perfect for weddings! They wanted to have a super cozy and woodsy feel to their wedding and this venue was the perfect match.
They married this September 2021 and they are truly a match and could not be more perfect for each other! They shared their Maryland wedding day with their close friends and family and it made for a gorgeous and intimate wedding day!
