Valley Forge Intimate Wedding in Pennsylvania

We started the day at Manayunk Chambers Guest House was very exciting. This neighborhood of Philadelphia is very unique. I arrive around 2 pm to see Anna and Jim getting ready. They wanted an intimate wedding, and their getting ready was just like that. Anna had prepared something special for Jim: a letter. I had the privilege to be here and capture Jim’s reaction and the first tears of the day.

They did not want to see each other before the ceremony. I stayed with Anna for half an hour, to give her the time she needed to get ready, I document her doing so. Then, I followed Jim who got picked up by his sons to go to their wedding ceremony location: Valley Forge National Historical Park.

When arriving at the location, another couple was there to take their wedding pictures. We gently handled the situation and the photographers agreed to move a little bit further to continue their session. Once the chairs were placed, the 10 guests sat down to wait for Anna’s arrival.

The ceremony was truly unique and beautiful. After this, and a sip of champagne, we took a small walk around to capture the beauty of the place. For their wedding reception, Anna and Jim chose to eat at Nectar, an award-winning restaurant on the Main Line Philadelphia Suburb of Berwyn that serves Asian-French food. Sounds delicious? It also tasted delicious!

The day before, they also trusted me to take amazing engagement photos in the city of Philadelphia.
