Wedding at Historic Rosemont Manor

A wedding in Historic Rosemont Manor

Evelynn and Andrew choose Historic Rosemont Manor for many reasons. First, for the beauty of it : this place is in Virginia’s most beautiful countryside.

On the terrace of the building, the view is amazing. Far away, we can see the mountains of Shenandoah. But what this couple adored, was that during the month of April, the main tree behind the ceremony space blooms with pink flowers. It was the perfect background!

Second, the service. During their wedding day, Historic Rosemont Manor team was always around, making sure that everything was falling into places. While the girls were getting ready in a studio, the guys were few hundred feet away to get ready as well. It made it very easy for me to go to a place and then another.

American-Vietnamese wedding

Evelynn added three vietnamese traditions into the day. First, before the ceremony, both families met in the living room of the manor. Evelynn’s family gave her a gift before walking down the aisle. A magnificent necklace was offered by her mom. The groom’s grandparents gave them two handmade pillows.

Second, they changed and put a traditional vietnamese outfit to be introduced as husband and wife.

Third, and I think that was a great idea, is to say “Hi!” to every table during the reception. That way, I was able to capture the couple with guests!

Pre-wedding : a fantastic engagement session

Evelynn and Andrew asked me to come to their house few months before the wedding as they wanted a chill and relax time with me, a good way to know each other and judge my work before the big day!
